Neil Jackson was born March 5, 1976 in Luton, Bedfordshire, England. He was an amateur boxing champion and worked as a personal trainer before becoming an actor.
Neil was introduced to acting at the age of 14, when after being kicked out of French class for being disruptive, it was suggested he try Drama class instead. After graduating and having competed for years in martial arts, Neil tried out for the British University’s Boxing Championship. After winning the gold, he set his sights on being a boxer. He continued on this path for several years. To get into the acting profession, Neil wrote his own musical, a rags-to-riches boxing story called ‘Ringside’ and worked with a musician friend to complete the CD and script. A producer watched the musical and offered Neil a free scholarship to his acting class.
After Neil graduated, he got a job understudying the lead for a play that was touring Britain. After the lead fell sick, Neil was asked to take his place. He signed with an agent soon after and has now been in the industry for over a decade.
He is best known as Sasha in ‘Make It Or Break It’ and Abraham Van Brunt in ‘Sleepy Hollow’. Neil is also an accomplished guitar player and song writer, and has released two EP’s.
